This striking variety produces rich, velvety crimson flowers accented by slightly lighter outer petals. The blooms begin deeply cupped and gradually open to a softer, more relaxed form as they mature. A strong Old Rose fragrance fills the air, layered with fruity hints of blackberry, blueberry, and damson. The plant grows into a broad, bushy shrub with a naturally spreading habit. New foliage emerges in shades of red-bronze before maturing to a classic mid-green.
