Among the earliest English Roses to bloom each season, this variety begins with beautifully spiraled buds that gradually unfold into large, rosette-shaped flowers in a vibrant, luminous pink. The blooms carry a classic Old Rose fragrance that is wonderfully balanced and widely regarded as the signature scent of traditional garden roses. This variety grows with strong vigor, forming a medium-sized shrub with an upright, well-structured habit. It was named in honor of the celebrated garden designer and author.
